What's the difference between TP & HC?

TP & HC are both abbreviations. TP stands for Trade Paperback which are softcover collections. HC is an abbreviation for Hardcover. The TP & HC-version of a collection will almost always have the same content. The difference is in the materials used.

What is an issue when it comes to comics?

An issue is like an episode of your favorite TV show but instead of getting your fix weekly, an issue is sent every month. Issues tend to be small, almost always limited to 20 pages unless stated otherwise. If you want to be kept in the loop of what happens in your favorite comic series, this is the place to start. Also interesting to keep in mind: issues have a nice collector's value! If you have a bit more patience, I'd suggest to wait for a collection in TP or HC.

Where do I start reading comics?

Most of the time, people tend to have a favorite superhero or character so we suggest you start there. If you have no earthly clue where to start, we're more than happy to push you in the right direction while visiting our store.

You'll notice quite quickly you'll love certain stories more than others. Comics often change writers so we suggest you find out which stories you prefer and who wrote them. Before you know it, you'll have a handful of favorite writers and/or artists.

I want to collect comics: what do I look for?

Whether you want to collect everything of your favorite superhero or your favorite writer, it is key that you keep your comics in mint condition. That's why we suggest you get your issues bagged and boarded. You can purchase your own bags and boards on our shop as well.

Am I allowed to try boardgames?

Absolutely! We have a collection of boardgames at our shop for you to try out. When you give us a visit, be sure to ask for our list!
